Are you looking for some excitement?  The weather is warming up in East Texas, and now is a great time to try something new – Zip-Lining!  Sure, you’ve seen them do it on The Amazing Race, but it’s not just for reality TV or summer camp. Tyler’s Discovery Science Place ranks among the top 25 science centers across the nation who cater to young children, according to a list published in the September issue of Parents magazine. The Discovery Science Place is located in downtown Tyler, and is open seven days a week.

Discovery Science Place opened in 1993, and offers over 85 interactive activities and exhibits built to explore, amaze and educate children. A new exhibit will open this September called “Color: The Science and Art of Seeing Light”.
